Theories of evolution teach us that it is not necessarily the strongest which survives and sustains in the long run. In fact, it is the one which is alert, agile and adapts oneself to the changing environment, which survives in the end. The world is changing very fast. Education sector is no exception to this rapid change. In my teaching career spanning over 40 years, the last 5 years possibly saw more changes than the first 35+ years. To add to it, the pandemic Covid has forced many changes in the world. Hybrid education (a combination of Offline and Online education) has become the new normal. I take immense pride in sharing the fact that DJPS was one of the first schools in the entire state to adopt this model and adapted very fast with the changing circumstances. Many age old careers are becoming extinct and new careers are taking birth. The world of 2035 will be very different from what it is today. Therefore, our biggest challenge is to push and train the child to keep learning, unlearning and relearning. If there is one skill which is going to matter more than ever, it will be ability to learn, and learn really fast. This will be our underlying philosophy of how we as Team of educationists prepare the students for future.
Best wishes
